History of felt

I found this while looking around the internet. If you are interested in felt making you may enjoy having a read. Written by Berthold Laufer and published in 1930 it looks at the early history of felt making in different cultures, its fascinating.

I'm also going to share something which I found on the old wikipedia:

"The story of Saint Clement and Saint Christopher relates that while fleeing from persecution, the men packed their sandals with wool to prevent blisters. At the end of their journey, the movement and sweat had turned the wool into felt socks."!

I prefer olive oil soap, but if you want a more personal touch....no don't - just stick to using soap!

bye for now
