Hello and welcome to Rose Tinted Creations.

A Little About Me

My Name is Alison Rose and I am the owner, teacher, crafter and official tea maker of Rose Tinted Creations! 

My Passion in life has always been learning and teaching arts and crafts (my husband calls me a yoghurt weaver!). Over the years (I don't feel a day over 21) I have added a variety of different crafts to my repertoire! 



Rose Tinted Creations - How it all began...

A long, long time ago in a County far, far away I was a french teacher in a local junior school; teaching by day and indulging my jewellery making hobby by night! 

Then 16 years ago I arrived in a quiet Cheshire village called Goostrey drifting in on my umbrella (memory is foggy but I think that's right). 

I began teaching french, arts and crafts at the local primary school.

Then one day, in an old, old building I found a decrepit old chair, which ended up changing the course of my life!

I jacked in my job and enrolled on a City and Guild course in upholstery and design!

During my time on the course I also undertook a 2 year felt making course and not only that - that's right it's hard to believe so much could be done at once - but I taught jewellery making AT. THE. SAME. TIME! (well on different days but that doesn't sound as good!)

For a period of time - let's say 3 years-ish - I taught arts and crafts to schools and some adults due to word of mouth, and as I found my self teaching more and more adults and my confidence grew I thought to myself... I like this! 

So Rose Tinted Creations was born!


All Very Well - But what is Rose Tinted Creations?

This is where I get serious - it's business time! 

Rose Tinted Creations (based in cheshire) is the roof under which all of the arts and crafts I enjoy doing reside. 
It varies from running adult craft courses (from home and away), running community art projects, doing workshops at schools and selling my own creations!
